The Meldygreen Outside (outdoor) are coatings made of microscopic hollow ceramic spheres (micro-bubbles), immersed in     water-based acrylic medium (latex). The ceramic micro-bubbles are partially vacuum, that 'almost no air or other gases, and their diameter ranges from 20 to 120 micron (2 to 12 hundredths of a millimeter).

The high concentration of bubbles, their size, the internal void to which they are subject, and the material which they are made determine the exceptional physical characteristics:

- High reflectivity 'in the spectrum of ultraviolet solar radiation to infrared
- High impenetrability 'by external agents (water, smog, bacteria, mold, algae)
- High breathability '
- High resistance to aging (physical characteristics and performance intact over time)
- Thanks to the power of photocatalytic titanium dioxide content (environmental biological treatment).

The reflectivity 'against infrared radiation makes the coating a heat shield, which reflects the heat, using the same technology used in the ceramic shield of the NASA Shuttles. The thermal isolation that follows, leading to drastic reduction of the excursions thermal stresses to which the materials are subject to coverage and structure (think of concrete structures, concrete, grilled, with expansion joints, and problems of "thermal bridges")
